Virtual Gifts are images that can be bought at the Gift Shop and given to a user, either signed or anonymously, and can have messages attached to them.

They appear on the Profile page of the recipient and expire after two weeks. Recipients can choose to remove them from their Profiles pages or to delete them permanently by clicking on the gift.

The Virtual Gifts page displays all the gifts one's ever received and their accompanying messages. A link to this page is displayed at the bottom of the full version of one's Profile. If one has Virtual Gifts currently being displayed on their profile, the link is also displayed below the gifts ('View all gifts'). Gifts which have been removed from profiles pages or which have expired are therefore always visible on that page. Gifts which have been permanently deleted are not.

Most Virtual Gifts cost $0.99 USD. Charity gifts, "Frank Bunny", "Graduation Cap", "Tombstone", and "Voodoo Doll" cost $1.99 USD. "A Dozen Red Roses" costs $2.99 USD. Sponsored gifts are free.

Users who receive ten or more non-sponsored gifts within two weeks are granted two months of paid time as a bonus.
