TypePad is a Movable Type-based blog hosting service run by Six Apart, generally considered to be the largest paid blogging service in the world. (There are no free accounts on TypePad.) TypePad tends to suffer from occasional downtimes that piss off its customers, but the proposed class action lawsuit never took wing. The last outage, as of this edit, was July 13, 2006.
Many high-profile companies and persons have Typepad blogs.
