Am I really the only one who thinks this livejournal/ljcom division is completely obscure unless you explain what it means as regards to LJ Clones? - uw 13:35, 27 October 2006 (EDT)

No, especially not when ljcom just links to LiveJournal! At the very least, we should make ljcom into its own page so that it will explain itself, and maybe link the livejournal part to the LiveJournal server to distinguish the fact that it's the generalized software that can do that. --Foxfirefey 17:57, 27 October 2006 (EDT)

Yes. I had thought in the back of my mind to make something like:
LiveJournal have its current content, and make it a disambig page. One link to LiveJournal Server ("the base code of the "livejournal" program) and then LiveJournal.com ("the commercial installation run and maintained by Six Apart, previously by Danga Interactive and is also known as "ljcom.")

Whatever you think is best. What I want to know is how that is linked to "Posting Methods"? livejournal or ljcom, what does it change for people concerning the various ways they can post on LJ (since that's what the article is about)? If we can't make this meaningful in some way, it has to go. Otherwise, it's just unnecessary and irrelevant information - uw 21:05, 27 October 2006 (EDT)
