Is this about Gizmo Project or Gizmo for LJ Talk? - uw 19:28, 25 October 2006 (EDT)

Sorry for being bitchy but I still don't understand what this page is about. And Gizmo Project and Gizmo for LJ Talk are two different things. The former is a company or at least a website whereas the latter is a program. They're not equivalent. - uw 07:55, 26 October 2006 (EDT)

"Gizmo Project" is the name of the program.

"Gizmo Project for LJ Talk" is the name of the version of the program that is specifically for use with LJ Talk.

SIPphone is the name of the company that maintains Gizmo Project.

Gizmo Project users cannot log into Gizmo Project for LJ Talk.

LJ users cannot log into Gizmo Project (unless they have a Gizmo Project account).

I can log into Gizmo Project as miketrethewey because that's my Gizmo Project account.

I can log into Gizmo Project for LJ Talk as kunzite1 because that's my LJ account.

It is unclear if "Gizmo" and "Gizmo Project" are interchangeable.

It is also unclear if "Gizmo for LJ Talk" and "Gizmo Project for LJ Talk" are interchangeable. --kunzite1 08:03, 26 October 2006 (EDT)

  1. All references of Gizmo Project need to be changed to Gizmo Project for LJ Talk.
  2. Then Gizmo Project needs to be "moved" to Gizmo Project for LJ Talk.
  3. Then, all references of Gizmo need to be changed to Gizmo Project.
  4. Then, Gizmo needs to be "moved" to Gizmo Project.

(It was confusing the hell out of me too.)
