Tags are keywords or descriptive terms given to entries or items to put them into categories.

[edit] Tags on LiveJournal

LiveJournal supports tags for both entries and images in ScrapBook (see section below). You can manage your journal entries tags here. A journal's list of tags will be found at:

http://exampleusername.livejournal.com/tag/
http://users.livejournal.com/_exampleusername_/tag/

Communities can also use tags and their lists would be found at:

http://examplecommunity.livejournal.com/tag/

Make sure to put the end "/" on end or a bug will redirect you to tag. This bug was officially squashed on September 21, 2006.

If the journal is using the S2 style system, the tag list will display in that style. Otherwise, the list will display using S1 Shortcomings.

Vox supports tags for posts, images, videos, books, and audio. The Explore page allows people to view posts made on Vox with a given tag. Tags also have their own RSS feeds.
