Supporthelp

In the LiveJournal Support system, Supporthelp (SH) is a term that can be used to refer to both a privilege and to a person holding the supporthelp privilege.

The supporthelp privilege allows a Support volunteer to approve screened answers to requests on the board. Usually granted on a per-category basis, it also includes the ability to make and view internal comments on a request, the ability to move requests from one category to another, to change the summary of a request in the event that it is confusing or unclear, and the ability to view screened answers.

Support volunteers that hold the supporthelp privilege are referred to as "supporthelps". Supporthelps participate in the training of screened volunteers by answering questions in the helpscreening community, serving as mentors, and also by conducting written reviews of a screenie's work.
