The show query argument can help filter a Friends Page or FriendsFriends Page to include only journals of a certain type. This is the query argument the Navigation Strip uses for some of its options.

C stands for Community Accounts, P for Personal Accounts, Y for Syndicated Accounts, N for News Accounts and S for Shared Accounts.

To see only Community Accounts, use:

 http://exampleusername.livejournal.com/friends/?show=C

To see only Personal Accounts, use:

 http://exampleusername.livejournal.com/friends/?show=P

To show only Syndicated Accounts, use:

 http://exampleusername.livejournal.com/friends/?show=Y

To show only News Accounts, use:

 http://exampleusername.livejournal.com/friends/?show=N

To see only Shared Accounts, use:

 http://exampleusername.livejournal.com/friends/?show=S

You can also apply it to one of your friend groups. For instance, if you only want to see communities within the friends group named 'mygroup', use:

 http://exampleusername.livejournal.com/friends/mygroup?show=C

You can also combine letters. For instance, if you only want to see communities and personal journals, but not other accounts, use:

 http://exampleusername.livejournal.com/friends/?show=PC
