Bordered Boxes was the beginning in a series of layouts by masterslacker.

He provides some instructions (masterslacker) about how Paid/Permanent users can install his layouts.

Bordered Boxes was heavily influenced by his customisations to Component. He completely wrote this layout from scratch.

[edit] Smooth Sailing

Smooth Sailing was built upon Bordered Boxes with massive changes to the entire stylesheet.

LiveJournal.com's version of Smooth Sailing removed some functionality from the original by masterslacker so he provides a copy of the unaltered version that can be used by Paid/Permanent users.

[edit] Rounded Rectangles

Rounded Rectangles is a modified version of Bordered Boxes where all the borders are removed, and the square corners of the boxes are replaced by curved corners. The curved corners are achieved using color-indexed images whose colors can be modified dynamically by using LiveJournal's ScrapBook service.
