Block third party cookies

From No LJ Ads Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Many browsers allow you to block third-party websites from setting cookies. These are generally made by web bugs or ads and used by analytics and advertising companies.

Third party cookies can track your browsing activities across the web; some networks, like Google AdSense are quite large and span many thousands of websites!

However, please note that advertisers and trackers have many tricks to get around this method, like loading cookies from iframes.
